This is an elegant, mesh purse-handbag, made with heavy golden metal, probably bronze and enameled in white. It comes with beautiful bronze clasp, decorated with pearly material that resembles mother of pearl. The purse measures 6 inches long and 9 inches wide and has an 6-inch drop handle. The inner clasp has the maker’s mark that reads: Whiting & Davis Co., Made in USA. , no. 2982. This purse is in great vintage condition as shown in photos but please ake note a few mesh in the lower corner of the clasp need to be re-attached and this is normal wear for purses of this kind.
