Vintage Pewter Plate:  George Washington, 1732-1799 (sftb)

This is a beautiful plate made of pewter with round ceramic tile, depicting the First President of the United States, George Washington. Probably, this was made in commemoration of the bicentennial anniversary of the US Independence 1776-1976. The plate says: 1732 George Washington 1799, Patriot, Ist President, Farmer.  The plate measures 10.5 inches in diameter and the inner ceramic tile bearing the Washingtons portrait measures 6 inches in diameter. No other makers mark found. Package weight is about 2 lbs.
