Vintage, Art Deco, Elgin American, Gilded Metal Compact or Powder Case(G0722)

This is a fabulous heart-shaped compact made of gilded metal with original mirror intact.   It measures 3.5 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. It is in very good vintage condition with minimal wear or discoloration as shown in photos. Also, it has a monogram that reads A Z.  It is marked: Elgin, American, Made in USA. Compacts were popular during the Art Deco Period or between 1920-30s. Packaged weight is about a pound.
