This is a beautiful, etching of the 16th century Map of the World, made of unknown material that resembles wood or wood composition. Framed, it measures 15 inches high, 23 inches long and about 3 inches thick. The map has writings that says: Accurate Map of the World, drawn according to truest descriptions, latest discoveries and best observations have been made by English and strangers such as: Francis Drake; Ferdinand Magellan; Olivarus Vander Noort; and Thomas Candis. It shows several dates such as 1578, 1586 and 1626. It is in good vintage condition as shown in photos. Packaged weight is about 5 lbs.
